2 bedroom chalet with 2.5 baths in wooded area near Ober Mountain Ski Resort and downtown Gatlinburg. Chalet offers 1 King with ensuite bath, 2 Queens with hallway bath, 1/2 bath and laundry center, hot tub and game table with air hockey, ping pong and pool table, 3 t.v's with cable and dvd players, washer/dryer, full kitchen, wood burning fireplace and WI-FI. Free long distance with international calling. 2 dogs are accepted, however an additional dog deposit of $150.00 is required, which is refundable within 10 days after inspection less a $50.00 non-refundable cleaning fee. As a courtesy to the next guest, renter is responsible for cleaning up after their dog. Renter is responsible for any additional cleaning fees and loss of revenue due to damage caused by dog(s). THIS UNIT DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR "FREE NIGHT" SPECIALS. This is a NON SMOKING CHALET!! If you smoke in the unit...you will be charged a $200 fee. Winter Weather Warning: The elevation at Canterbury Cottage is nearly the same as the lodge at Ober Mountain Ski Resort. In case of inclement winter weather, 4 wheel drive and/or chains are advised. We recommend checking the weather and webcam at Ober Mountain Ski Resort to determine the weather conditions here. The City of Gatlinburg does an excellent job of keeping the roads open in winter, but in case of heavy snowfall, it may take a day or more to make the roads safe for travel. When staying here in the winter, it is advised that you bring extra supplies.
